Delete Your Account in the App
This works the same for customers and partners:
- Customer app or website
- Open Profile → Settings → Delete account, read what will happen, and confirm.
- Partner app or partner website
- Open Profile → Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.
Can't Sign In? Ask by Email
Email privacy@homeeigo.com from the email address on your account, or include the mobile number registered with it, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request comes from the account holder before acting, and reply within 72 hours.
What Happens, and When
- Straight away
- Your account is closed and you are signed out everywhere. Partners stop receiving job offers.
- For 30 days
- You can change your mind: contact support and we will restore the account.
- After 30 days
- Your personal data is erased as described below. This cannot be undone.
- Backups
- Encrypted backups that still contain your data expire within 90 days of the request.
What Is Deleted
- Your profile
- Name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, gender, profile photo and bio.
- Sign-in
- Your password, sessions and registered devices.
- Saved addresses
- Street, building, flat, landmark and instructions; only the city and an approximate area remain on past bookings.
- Partner details
- PAN, Aadhaar, bank and UPI details, emergency contact, and uploaded identity and qualification documents.
What We Keep, and Why
- Bookings, invoices and payments
- Kept for the period tax and accounting law requires, no longer linked to your name, email or phone.
- Safety and fraud records
- Records of a safety incident or fraud investigation, where needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
Before You Delete
Refunds already in progress are still paid to the original payment method. If you have a wallet balance or, as a partner, unpaid earnings, use or withdraw them first, or contact support — once personal data is erased we can no longer verify a claim against the account.
